His Sovereignty Began in Genesis

Inspiration

This past year was my first year in BSF, Bible Study Fellowship, and we studied the book of Genesis. In the first lecture of the year, my teaching leader said that “Genesis was written to tell the Israelites that their lives were held in the hands of a sovereign God, rather than in the stars or the many gods of Babylon”. As we studied each chapter of Genesis, I marveled at how God overcame the sins of men and continued to show His grace, mercy and most of all, His sovereignty. Since a tandem bike requires the two riders to pedal with the same cadence, it is a good metaphor for the teamwork & communication required in a marriage. With this in mind, I want to share my new guest book design with you!

Salmon & Asparagus

Recipes

Here is a really easy salmon recipe, courtesy of my mom. I made this a few weeks ago for my hubby and he said it “was the best thing [I've] ever made!” Since he says that about every meal I make, I think I need a few more opinions from y’all.   Salmon & Asparagus Ingredients: Salmon, Asparagus, Pesto, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Salt & Pepper 1. Preheat oven to 400°F 2. On a large piece of foil, place asparagus in the center (about 5 pieces per person). Place the salmon on top of the asparagus, skin-down. 3. Cover the...
