The Promised Lamb - Family Lent Devotional

The Promised Lamb - Family Lent Devotional

$20.00
Lent begins February 22, 2023! The Promised Lamb is a devotional for the family to read together during the 40 days leading up to Easter. The devotional begins one week prior to the crucifixion and ends at Jesus' ascension. When you are finished reading each devotional, place a sticker on the timeline chart provided. Display the timeline in a prominent place, like your refrigerator, to remind you to read the devotional together each day.

The book is a collection of 40 devotionals that tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. After each devotional, questions allow the readers to reflect on what they learned in the story as well as a challenge question for older readers. It is designed for the entire family to enjoy, but aimed at ages 5-12. The daily study is short enough to accommodate the attention span of younger family members, while the content is rich enough that even the teenagers in a family might learn something new.
Dorabeth Hickernell began writing Bible stories for children years ago while serving in her church's kids ministry. She wrote this devotional so that her grandchildren would understand the generous gift that God gave us through His son, Jesus Christ. Her prayer is that your family would know God's gift too.

Dorabeth is a Texan currently living in Wisconsin with her husband. She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
