Furniture Re-do with Chalk Paint!
Have you ever used chalk paint before? It has a different consistency than latex paint and has more of a stiffness to it when it dries. It is very versatile and doesn't require sanding or priming before applying. The biggest selling point for me was the dark wax that you can apply afterwards to get a rustic & antiqued look. Modern Art + Architecture @ LACMA
A few weeks ago, my mom and I attended a wedding down in Los Angeles. While we were there, we visited LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). From the moment we arrived on campus, I loved it! The layout of the buildings was inviting and I liked the mix of white building materials with red pipes and green palm trees. I also liked Urban Light (Chris Burden), an outdoor sculpture consisting of 202 antique street lamps. My favorite art period is modern art. I LOVE it when a customer makes a suggestion for a new design! Suzanne contacted me a few weeks ago requesting some recipe cards with an apple design to go along with a bridal shower that she hosted. This was the result, and I turned it into a recipe box as well. Thanks for the suggestion, Suzanne!
